Janeth's recent update on OC Details, and her story with Sayaka

I've made big changes ever since the first time Janeth Maria Ferrano's character was put into place on Fanfiction.net and I know I still have more to update since I've done countless RP-ing with a fellow author. Both of us fell out of grace for getting in so deep with how Existence works and the quarrels in between my character and his that we kinda got a writer's block altogether. But it doesn't mean we're gonna terminate what we've individually worked hard for. Actually, I think I still want to make this work, for the sake of trying to follow Doran Maya's example with working with FF author Atikabubu. That however will have to wait.

“And the evil emperor wannabe comes.” *transforms Strike-Umbrella to the Cannon-Rifle and aims it straight with one hand* “I think you won’t find me hurting you with shells a very pleasant thing.”

“I can’t blame you if you’re slow.” *suddenly appears behind her friend* “Exactly.”

“I got my own darkness. If the light can’t beat you, then my fires are gonna burn you instead, fiend.”

She’s described to have a sunhat, a collared upper garment with a chain-link armor around her chest and torso with short sleeves from the garment, a thigh-lengthened dress with knees visible, and short boots. Her white umbrella, usually opened or closed, is part of the attire. Her Soul Gem is worn on her wrist.

Intrinsic Abilities: Soul Burst (Completely separated from the magic produced from the soul gem, Janeth is known to use this as an emergency barrier to shield herself, and her allies from any impending status, or further damage. In exchange, this spends the light of her soul gem and starts darkening it. This is a risky defense skill that could turn a witch on a magical girl if used too long. This skill stays and CANNOT be removed, unless it is authorized by a deity.) Angel Wings (With her familiar named Irena, Janeth can summon her organic-metallic silver Angel Wings. It gives her flight, but it also gives an indirect advantage since she can fire unguided Star Rays at whichever point her wing tips are pointed at.)


Weapons: Strike-Umbrella (The umbrella itself had a simple shape of such, with a long body and a standard appearing metallic hilt. The color is white as snow, showing purple flowers as a design. JM handled it for the first time and made a wish to protect anyone, discarding the fact her physical strength wasn’t much. It acted for the first time in her sight as it gave her a matching bracelet at her wrist with a green gem and a small white tiara at her head. At first, the umbrella itself was used as a shield to block objects hostile to the user by opening the umbrella in full spectrum, and then used while closed as a melee weapon. Later, it developed itself as JM did, with the Strike-Umbrella transform as a Rapier, and then a Cannon-Rifle.), Cannon-Rifle (STRIKE-UMBRELLA SUB-WEAPON. This develops as she faced the evil emperor who controlled time and space while trying to destroy the city he owned. While JM battled, the Cannon-Rifle was made available to her to help on the offensive against the emperor, who was hard to kill with his engineered DNA…), Rapier (STRIKE-UMBRELLA SUB-WEAPON. The Rapier is simply the sword itself, while used to attack heavier kinds of units the empire had. This was first manifested into her development with the Strike-Umbrella while she faced walking Imperial Cannon-Juggernauts to get through their armor faster.), Variation Black (The power itself was claimed when Janeth herself had taken the power of her witch self, after the inter-dimensional travel she made. It seemed as her other ‘self’ had transformed into a witch, the witch named Cordelia had toxic auras taken into her, and naturalized into her power. After Janeth defeated Cordelia and gained her powers, the power itself has a function to amplify every ability she has. This ability is usually shown when her attire is changed from white, to black, and her eyes changed from green, to red.)

This is what it was, but it was changed later on since Janeth was resurrected out of her reckless journey in eliminating a fraudulent but powerful group of Fates that threaten to control the balance of creation in Existence.

Weapons: Strike-Cutter (The replacement weapon for her Strike-Rapier after her last appearance as a magical girl.), Strike-Blaster (STRIKE-RAPIER RANGED WEAPON. A variation of the Strike-Rapier that is usually used as a ranged weapon, the rapier can fire elemental rounds to be shot towards her opponents. She can mix variations of her elements to perform special elements such as ice and electric attacks. This ranged variation is paired together with the Strike-Rapier’s blade-wielding status, in which the rounds will come off the blade as energy rounds.)

Just to be clear, Janeth's character had been made possible because of Leche Flandre's character named Sayaka. The only difference is that Janeth's lust for power and aggressiveness become a key point to her character and is a more militant character. She had her ups and downs as a magical girl, but Sayaka during our RP's already claimed as fact that Janeth was reckless which is part of the character development. The two have clashed at each other and it didn't come without consequence. They both had something to do with how Existence was ending and restarting, not aware they were responsible in reshaping it. 

Mostly, Janeth was the cause of daring a magical girl with a large influence of time and space to go berserk, and for that to come into effect that Sayaka becomes a witch soon? Well... Didn't go well for Janeth there.

"What I think about Inter-dimensional travel"

This is usually off my mark when it comes to blogging, so I thought of making sure this gets out before it gets off my mind. Take note that this blog by itself is composed of my opinions about inter-dimensional travel. If you are not finding this appealing, you are a hater and you are free to leave.

What is inter-dimensional travel for me? I know it has its own sciences but I made sure when it comes fanfiction writing, it's been made simplified though dangerous if you're not careful when applying it yourself.

But let's first talk about something else to clear things up.

Existence is probably the biggest thing in itself that exists as a cluster of dimensions next to each other. In each Dimension lie a number of omniverses. Each Omniverse is composed of a number of universes. A Universe by itself is composed of galaxies. And a Galaxy is composed of at least one solar system and is composed of billions of stars. That information about the galaxy does not mention yet that there are multiple solar systems in our galaxy alone as a fact.

So in my terms of how transportation works on inter-dimensional travel... It's obvious that you cannot just simply summon a rift and travel to another dimension, to a certain place at a certain time. To how space and time works... If you are going to initiate in artificially summoning a tear or access an existing one takes serious work. It's either completely changing how your body is able to create a dimensional-rift, or you make an artificial tear through a machine. Through "explorers" (the term used for travellers using dimensional tears) in my shared universe with another author, tears are meant to be sacred. 

In the case of being corrected from time to time, my share of original characters is only recently following this, by sealing off dimensional tears/rifts properly to prevent a terrible tear in time and space of two attached dimensions at each attempt of travel. I learned the hard way by doing roleplay many times that not sealing off rifts and tears properly will create a bad event horizon which could potentially destroy a dimension or only a part of a dimension if the damage isn't great. If you're roleplaying an inter-dimensional travelling original character, please take this into mind. I consider this universally-accepted, not just in terms of ethics but also giving courtesy to whoever else practices inter-dimensional travels on their own.

Opinions #5 – “What I think about the 2014 film Whiplash”

There’s spoilers. So there’s that warning, and you’ve been warned. You can turn away at anytime, because it’s gonna be sudden in how I reveal.

The first thing I’ve got in mind right now when it comes to the movie Whiplash is… “What in the hell did I just watch??” in a good way. No, seriously. It’s what I was thinking after I finished the movie. And so it made me think that I needed to watch it a second time. But then something made me think: “What really drives one to be great?” Well… I’ve just learned in this movie it doesn’t just take your drive, but it also takes a lot of pushing towards you. SO WTF?!!

Let me just take a look at an angle in how the movie worked… One guy is striving to go further on his own by drumming hard and trying to make an impression. The devil drops by, and told the guy to play, keep playing to his standards. As the guy kept the play going, he hears the door slam shut, only for the devil to come back for his jacket that he purposely forgot. That, my friends, was the beginning of a story to when this guy would strive further because he was being pushed so far that he would walk out of a car accident just to try playing.

You know what kind of person does that? It’s the kind of person who would gamble everything out of the efforts he’s done just to make a stunning comeback… kind of like Charlie Parker who was humiliated on stage just to come back a year later being a bad-ass. Now I see a small resemblance back then on the character Andrew Neiman in the film when he went back on stage after being personally humiliated by Terrence Fletcher, his abusive coach who was suspended from the music academy after being told to, and played the drums like it was incidentally a Charlie Parker who wanted to make a comeback. And he did… with a vengeance. With all his sweat and blood, not only did he prove to Fletcher that he was able to overcome everything that was thrown at him, but it also costs him his humanity. THAT to him is how he would strive for greatness. And by the grace of God, he was burning hot at the end of the film. And… Even when I knew that very certain ending was a dark one, I still loved it. It was a high note ending even if it was a dark one. That sealed his fate.

So yeah, if you ask me why I liked Whiplash, it was because it ended up breaking the main character to be great. And… I never achieved that before. I wish I would have…

Opinions #4 – “What I think about open-world games”

What I actually think about open-world games… Hm… Let me see… I’m actually thinking as a PC user, I’m definitely conscious as to what specs I got. Because if you ask me about open-world games, the PC rig handling the game needs performance upgrades. The thing about open world games is that it really requires power from your graphics card. Ya get a higher performance for your graphics card, you get better results. That’s the technical stuff I’m sure you can get through once you get some more reading.

Of course as to why I like open world games, it should be because there’s more space for any of adventures related to roleplay or campaign. And, when accompanied with a lot of scripted triggers, I would get the sense that something new would happen. Each open world game would depend (of course) on how the game runs as a whole. The plot of the whole game is also important as to how each open-world map would be used. (This in particular creates the atmosphere of a game that is open-world.)

Opinions #3 - "I cry, appreciating harmony in music, so yeah…"

The good thing about me when it comes to being attuned to music is that when I’m hearing instruments that are in harmony with each other, I release tears. I’m a kind of person who knows how to play the piano, so I also know how to understand music in the sense I make it. That said, if there’s that kind of music in the modern age that I always hear being covered, depending on how I like the song itself, I have a deep appreciation that I cry over instrument covers. Pretty much it’s something I’ve had for years.

So, I pretty much eager to tell a bit about how I became decent as a musician. Before the age of 10, I used to have a nice voice. It was trained for pop music, but of course it was maturing. My parents got me quite attuned into music that I also showed promise to try playing instruments. And of course, the piano was the instrument, but I was more familiar with an electronic organ first since it’s in our budget. I guess when it came, I was more eager back then to just learn techniques. Eventually, there’s just the composition talent that I shifted to next, until I shifted to piano and I guess interests slowly turned to hobbies only. Can’t say every one of those lessons back then were a waste though. I had fun.

Right now, I’m just chilling out listening to music. I take piano as a hobby these days especially when I’m into trying to imitate a few things in music. So yeah, that’s that.

Opinions #2: “Does it look like I want to calm down on writing?”

Look, I want to be honest, and I want to be honest now. I’m 26 years old, and I’m kind of a writer... a writer who’s too much of a fan than being an author that he doesn’t really finish his own works. I got too many Strike Witches fanfictions that I don’t seem to have time to finish, and here I am writing it in a blog. Let me tell you how it started, and how it actually became a block for me.

When I opened myself up to the world of... 

...ANIME... 

...I really had to figure things out. What made me want to keep writing the continuity of all the favourite animes I watched? Through fiction writing! How? Fanfiction writing! And that’s how my fanfiction.net writing got started. It started with Strike Witches, then it branched out to different dimensional characters and crossovers until it all completely filled up and I couldn’t keep up to all of it. Why? Because I kept being messy in my own mind that I keep making problems. My backlog keeps filling up that I don’t get to fill up very well on what I need to do first! Whoo...

Most of my fanfictions are here. And that’s very much not just because of my passion, but because I had a thing on fanfiction and continuity on stories in my making. And now here we are. I am breathing too much, and I need a break... Call me when you guys need me... Jeez...

Opinions #1: “I’m a baby in politics”

Look, this paragraph is a disclaimer. Please forgive me if there’s some information that is inaccurate. I’m only voicing out opinion. But if there’s accuracy in the information that’s being said here, THEN you can comment. Otherwise, please PM for problems. Thank you! ^_^ 

Look, even as a goddamn baby boy, even though I actually know that I’m 26, I’m really not that aligned to politics, except if definitely affects a person like me. So... if I’m affected, I get affected to listen to politicians bicker, but it’s in my nature to suddenly stick into it. Well, I can do that, except as a Filipino, I don’t. Hey, it’s pretty rare I listen less to Philippine politics. I DO however, listen to policies made in the United States. I don’t know, maybe it’s because of my longing towards their kind of entertainment that very much pushes me to stay in their world? No? Well, I can’t be judged because I was recently telling myself that I’m pretty much critical as to how one of the most powerful countries right alongside Russia and China, would be a big influence towards other countries.

                 

And I’m serious about decisions made in the United States that could influence the kind of “template” other countries could copy drafts from. (HEY, TALKING ABOUT REPEATING POLICY IDEAS BUT NOT TO THE FACT OF FULL IMITATION, WHICH IS BAD ENOUGH AS HECK). I’m talking about laws and policies that are being made in the government that impacts the people.

                 

So... What is my first subject in mind? Hm... Oh yeah... IMMI-GRACIOUS-FREAKIN’-GRATION!! That’s right, my boys in the government are fighting over the idea that the border is compromised and... I’m sorry, Trump. What are you saying? Okay, I can read you in regards to the spots of the U.S. Mexico Border which don’t have suitable protection at all. There are spots that lead up to the Northwest section of the border which to this day isn’t prioritized when it comes to very serious security. I can understand Trump doesn’t like illegal immigrants to actually enter and be, you know... be criminals. His perception of how criminality works is: “It starts at the border.” His mindset, which makes the foundation of this matter, is wrong.

                 

Now don’t get me wrong in regards to the kind of policies that prohibits illegal immigration, but there’s pretty much a lot of poop of info I can say about this. From the beginning they were being adjusted. After all, there has to be balance of difference between nations. Let’s quote this: “Policies of the United States cannot be based on the theory that the States is the most essential external player in Latin America.” Why? It’s because those policies were being abused back then and the States needed to change those policies that’s in line with the times (which makes me always think that I hate that “the times” are changing on the fly). So it’s completely different today. The U.S. is not a main factor of influence towards Latin America, since the latter is going through a series of transformations that made it to what it is today. But some are getting problems in these transformations it affects those inhabitants. It could be better if they leave and “cross” into a better world. That’s how we come back to this subject.

                 

Let’s get back to the border problem which sparks the illegal immigration issue. So far, the border agencies that are handling this are getting strained. They do what they can to make sure verification goes smoothly, but there’s always the problem of illegal crossings. And those kinds of crossings cause problems since... “Hey! I’m in Mexico, and I wanna export Marijuana to the States. Ooh! Look at that! I just stepped into the States! Hooray!” And then a border agent would come running in to tackle the illegal immigrant and arrest the guy. The agent might say “Ya got to remain silent. Anything you say or do-” Then the illegal immigrant could say in his own language “What?” See... Language problems, stubbornness problems, and the problem of the strain when it comes to events like this. And one very genius Orange Wig who I’ll call the Big Bad Trump from now on, thinks that a simple WALL can change all of this. ABSOLUTELY NOT. There’s more to security that he’s not getting.

                

 It’s not just the south border he’s supposed to be worrying about, but also the other ways that illegal immigrants could come through. Multiple-layer protected documents could be the cause of it. Or maybe... Tunnels! There was even this border agent who was explaining the importance of border security that doesn’t just concern a border, but other alternative routes in which illegal immigrants could walk into.

                 

Now I’m a baby in politics, but shouldn’t the Orange Wig focus on the flexibility of security across the border instead of putting up a big strong wall (which could actually be sawed into if the metal is not strong enough) and could lose to common rain?
